Failed domain creation: Unable to update domain data: Failed mail post-configuration

When I tried to create the domain: mydomain.com in parallel plesk windows server with IIS, I encountered the
following error message:

after getting that error i tried to create this domain again and again but all in vain, every time i got the same issue, need some help on it.

Answer

This error occurs because the entry for mydomain.com is already present in
the Mail Enable Administrator at “MailEnable>MailEnable
Management>Messaging Manager>PostOffices>”. I checked the mailbox at
this location to make sure it was empty and then I deleted the entry.

After that I attempted to create mydomain.com again and the process was
successful.

In future attempts to create domains that have failed to be created
before, I would suggest you delete their entries from the above
specified location in MailEnable and then proceed.
