You can simply install clamav through your dedicated server using the below Cpanel/WHM path
Main >> cPanel >> Manage Plugins
Once your installation would be completed, you can find its option below in plugins, by clicking on it you may configure clamav in different ways, for scanning whole server or for individual accounts.
You may specify your scan as
| Scan Entire Home Directory |
| Scan Mail |
| Scan Public FTP Space |
| Scan Public Web Space |
You may also run this scan according to user or for the whole server through putty by using below given commands for clamiv scan.
If you want to scan a single user, do use this command in putty
- clamscan -ir /home/username -l clamscanreport
If you want to scan your whole server, use this command
- clamscan -ir / -l clamscanreport
After the scan completed you can find this clamav report in your root directory to view what is wrong with your account or server.
