We can set the file permission via three ways.
1: Control Penal
From control penal user can change the permission of files of his site, by following ways.
Open your control penal find the Icon of File manager from files penal. Click on file manager you people see a small window check the radio button of Web root (Public_html/www) then click on Go. After press Go button you will reach in new window of your file manager, In this page you need to select your desired file then find the Button of Change permissions on the top of you penal. Click on this button and set the permission of your file.
2: WHM Web Host Manager
By using then WHM only that person will set these permission which has access the WHM detail, these detail not provided to any end user its Penal used for Hosting management Co. That’s reason service provider not provide you an kind of WHM detail for manage any site, if you are a web manager you have a access of WHM then you need to find the desired domain form list account and click on the icon of control penal after access you control penal follow the first way for change the permission.
3: Shell Access:
In this way that person can change the permission of any site that has the Shell Access of any server. These kinds are access details are very secured and used for any hosting Server manager. If you are Any server administration and have shell access of any server, you need to download any tool for access, like putty.exe or winSCP. Putty is most popular for this solution. After download this any tool you need to enter login detail of server, Login name, SSH IP, SSH port, and password, after the access of your server, you need to run this command for change the permission of files,
chmod 644 /home/usr/public_html/file name
You need this work when server disable any file due to over role any policy otherwise you can easily change your permission from your WHM or Cpenal.
