Can I use my Bulgaria VPS as a proxy or VPN server?
Yes. Full root access and KVM virtualization allow you to install any proxy software (Squid, 3proxy, Shadowsocks) or VPN protocol (WireGuard, OpenVPN, IPsec) you prefer. Because your instance sits in Sofia with a dedicated IPv4 address, it provides a Bulgarian exit point for geo-specific tasks — useful for accessing region-locked content, managing regional ad accounts, or testing how your website appears to local visitors. Bandwidth is unlimited, so proxy and VPN traffic won't trigger overage charges.
What is the difference between a VPS, a virtual machine, and a node?
A node is the physical server — the actual hardware sitting in our Sofia data center. A virtual machine (VM) is one isolated environment created on that node using KVM virtualization. A VPS (Virtual Private Server) is the product you purchase: a virtual machine with dedicated resources, its own operating system, and full administrative access. In practice, the terms overlap, but understanding the hierarchy helps when you're planning how many instances you need.
How many virtual machines can I run on one VPS plan?
KVM allows you to create nested virtual machines inside your VPS if your plan has sufficient CPU and RAM. This is useful for development environments, testing clusters, or running multiple isolated services on a single instance. However, most customers find it simpler to upgrade to a larger plan or order additional VPS instances rather than nesting, since each VM consumes resources from the parent.
Will my latency be low for visitors outside Bulgaria?
Bulgaria sits at the crossroads of Southeast Europe, with direct fiber routes to Greece, Romania, Serbia, North Macedonia, and Turkey. Visitors from these countries typically see latency under 30 ms. For Western Europe, expect 40–60 ms depending on the destination. For global audiences, latency will be higher — if most of your traffic comes from North America or Asia, a data center closer to those regions may serve you better.
Can I upgrade my Bulgaria VPS plan without losing data?
Yes. Upgrades are performed on the same node, so your virtual machine keeps its IP address, files, and configuration. The transition usually completes within minutes with minimal or no downtime. You can also downgrade later if your needs change, though resources already consumed by your applications will determine how far you can scale back.
What payment methods do you accept for Bulgaria VPS orders?
We accept PayPal, Visa and Mastercard, Bitcoin, and Perfect Money. All transactions are processed securely, and your instance is provisioned automatically once payment clears. For customers paying via cryptocurrency, provisioning may take slightly longer due to network confirmation times.
Do you offer refunds if the service doesn't meet my needs?
We do not offer any refunds after provisioning of service though you are advised to discuss any points you have in your mind about any service you are going to buy before ordering and payment.
Is technical support included, or is it a paid extra?
